It stickens me deep down inside to see all of the plays that, had they been good throws, would have gone for big yards and possibly touchdowns. Our defense was weak but our offense was horrible. Yet we still put up a good showing on the scoreboard. I think there are a few missing pieces but were close (I also think I've been saying that for years) but oh well. This is becoming banal. Pitchers and catchers report next month. Let's go phils...

And Kurt Warner was the better quarterback today. He belonged in that game, McNabb looked scared. His pitiful press conference afterwards just confirmed it. You know the one where he had to point out that he wanted the ball in his hands at the end of the game. Let me say this, star players not only want the ball, they expect the ball, and they don't have to tell people that they wanted the ball. WE KNOW the WANT the ball by their actions. That's why they are stars. His explanation that he wanted the ball did nothing more than show that he realy didn't want the ball, it showed that he doesn't belong in the spotlight, finally it showed that despite stellar numbers, i think the Hall of Fame will remain just out reach for McNabb.

That's too bad too. There would have been a hell of a lot of money in an official special edition limited time only Donovan McNabb Hall of Fame Chunky Soup. They could mix in butterflies in the stomach and barf along with some turf grass to really make it authentic. They could make the noodles in the shape of ridiculous annoying smiles and for the hell of it they could throw some beef in the shape of targets and have little carrots that look like legs. They would symbolize the day when McNabb used to throw the ball accurately and pose a run threat to the defense. Okay I'm done except for the tag line, "Donovan McNabb Hall-Of-Fame Chuncky Soup It Works Overtime to Fill You Up (unlike it's namesake)... Yeah thats weak it's late and it's all I could come up with... Surely someone else can be more creative.Sean Schaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12535893033033070458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7458724113457799001.post-6095802744756077752009-01-18T21:51:00.000-05:002009-01-18T21:51:00.000-05:00You are correct, sir!You are correct, sir!Dan Ciruccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18362893049097966904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7458724113457799001.post-35269480075033063072009-01-18T21:38:00.000-05:002009-01-18T21:38:00.000-05:00But, it was so exciting to see the Iowa boy, Kurt ...But, it was so exciting to see the Iowa boy, Kurt Warner, once again do his thing. His life story is what movies are made about; Christian, athlete, husband, father, come back player. He's the whole package.
