Dame Edna, Feinstein Eye B'way

“The show has become even more elaborate than I imagined,” said Dame Edna.
“There will be a twelve piece orchestra,” declared Michael Feinstein.
“There is much more scenery than I could even chew,” noted Dame Edna. “
My costume changes may even rival Dame Edna’s,” argued Michael Feinstein.
“Two more artists have joined the company, doubling our cast size,” added Dame Edna.
“And do I know from strobe lights?” asked Michael Feinstein.

It is thus with great reluctance but enormous panache, given the expanding parameters of the production, that All About Me announces a new first – it moving theatres even before opening. The production will now begin performances at Henry Miller’s Theatre (124 West 43rd St.) moving two blocks from one of the New York’s prime theatres – and the originally announced – John Golden Theatre.

“Henry Miller. John Golden. I just love men,” said Dame Edna.
“I wonder if they were lovers,” added Michael Feinstein.
“Oh, you, concert divas always have to get in the last word,” from Dame Edna.

All About Me, written by Christopher Durang and directed by Jerry Zaks, will play Henry Miller’s Theatre, beginning previews Friday, February 19, 2010 and opening on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Tickets will be available through Telecharge.com, or 212-239-6200 at a date to be announced and the box office will open at a later date also to be announced soon.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Bye Bye Birdie is currently playing at Henry Miller’s Theatre through January 24, 2010. All About Me is produced by Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel.

About Dan Cirucci

Cirucci served as Associate Executive Director of the Philadelphia Bar Association for nearly 30 years. He served as Chair of Penn State University's Professional Advisory Board for the Corporate Communication major at Penn State Abington and on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Judicial Selection Commission.

He received his MA degree from Rowan University and his BA from Villanova University. He has been named a Distinguished Alumnus of Rowan's public relations program and received the E. A. "Wally" Richter Leadership Award, the highest honor from the National Association of Bar Executives' Communications Section. He has also been honored by numerous other local, state and national groups.

In his hometown of Camden, Cirucci taught fifth grade at the Ulysses Wiggins Elementary School named for the founder of the Camden NAACP. There he was one of the first teachers in the country to teach African-American history to inner city students. He later served as editor of a local weekly newspaper, as Assistant to the Township Manager of Cherry Hill Township and as Associate Director of Communications at the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Cirucci's passions include politics, the popular culture, books and authors, art, communication, music, theatre, movies, dining and travel.
