This year, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary welcomes two additional religious orders to its growing student body. The Oblates of Saint Joseph and the Congregation of the Mission - the Vincentians - will enroll their seminarian students at Overbrook beginning fall 2015.

Opening week at the seminary will include campus tours, in which returning seminarians will pair with new seminarians and their families to tour the grounds and facilities. Also during the first week, group activities such as daily Mass and day trips to Philadelphia are planned. Fall classes for the College and Theology Division of Saint Charles Borromeo officially begin on Thursday, August 20, 2015.

Founded in 1832, The Seminary has served as a leading institution in the formation of Catholic men for the Priesthood in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and dioceses throughout the country for over 180 years. This year, approximately 145 young men have answered God's call to attend the Seminary to be formed after the heart of Jesus Christ. With the generosity of many, these young seminarians are able to successfully transform into the compassionate and loyal priests and inspiring leaders of tomorrow's Church.
