New Jersey State Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick today requested that the media schedule debates for this year's election.
"The state assembly plays a vital role as a policy making institution in New Jersey," said Bramnick. "I am requesting that our friends in the media schedule debates between Democratic and Republican leadership."
Bramnick suggests the media schedule these debates in various areas of the state to encourage the best access to the public.
"Debates should focus on policy issues including pensions, education funding, tax policy, and municipal consolidation," continued Bramnick. "The public deserves the information and the media has the ability to hold these forums."
