Philly Naked Bike Ride Just Two Weeks Away!

Here is a special message from the organizers of the Philly Naked Bike Ride (PNBR):

 Can you believe it that it’s only 2 more weeks to the PNBR 2015? Itwill be held on Saturday, 29 August 2015! Start time will be 3pm, withpre-ride festivities (bodypainting – YESSS!) from 12:30-2:30pm! Hope thatyou can reserve the date, make your work, travel, etc. plans, tune up yourbike, and spread the word to friends and family.
   We will try to get another notice a week before the ride with moredetails and a list of prime viewing spots.  We even hope to have anAfterParty!  The Starting Location and Route will not be disclosed untilabout 48 hours before the Ride.  We will ride through lots of Center CityPhiladelphia.  You can keep up with the latest information at our Website,phillynakedbikeride.org.  News will appear there instantly, while thisE-mail Newsletter takes about 12 hours to get to all of the thousands ofinterested riders.

   For those coming from far away, Amtrak is offering a 10% discount offthe best available rail fare to Philadelphia, PA between August 25, 2015and September 02, 2015 for PNBR 2015 riders. To book your reservation callAmtrak at 1 (800) 872-7245 or contact your local travel agent.   Conventions cannot be booked via Internet. Please be sure to refer toConvention Fare Code X90Y-935 when making your reservation. This offer isnot valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service. Fare is valid on AmtrakRegional for all departures seven days a week, except for holidayblackouts. Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seatswith payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.
   But we still need a lot of volunteers, especially for the Street Team!Your main responsibility will be to block traffic so that all of the ridersare safe. And you get to do this by riding up and down the column of ridersand riding on side streets and bypassing the route if needed.
   If you’re a bodypainter, we also could use you as we would like totry to paint as many bodies as possible. If interested in the Street Teamor the Bodypainting or other teams such as the Mechanical, Medical, andOutreach teams, please contact us at info@phillynakedbikeride.org.
   Photographers and media, you will have to pre-register prior to theride to get access to the starting location. Please send your informationto info@phillynakedbikeride.org and someone will contact you with detailson what to do on the day of the ride.
