Paul Jost, an eclectic artist who is a vocalist, musician, arranger and composer, has been performing worldwide with recent tours in South Korea and Ireland and a performance in Germany at JazzAhead, A resident of Southern New Jersey, he plays frequently on the east coast. Paul is included on many albums and his solo CD Breaking Through (Dot Time Records) has been getting raves worldwide. Recently commissioned by Exit Zero Jazz Festival to interpret Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” album as Jazz, he headlined the concert there and performs it frequently including last month for a live recording at The Bitter End.
The Jost Project, a band with vibraphonist Tony Miceli, bassist Kevin MacConnell, drummer Doug Hirlinger and Paul on vocals and harmonica, reaches new audiences for Jazz through the lens of classic rock. Their CD, Can’t Find My Way Home (Dot Time Records) and Breaking Through are played on Sirius XM Radio. Paul is honored to have recently performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra’s concertmaster David Kim.
