Photos: A Magical Evening At Peddlers Village
Magical.
That's the only way that we can describe it.
We're talking about the Christmas Grand Illumination in Bucks County, Pennsylvania at beautiful Peddlers Village, the charming collection of shops and restaurants adjacent to a country inn and conference center just a quick drive from Philadelphia.
The rolling hills, the roadside barns and farmlands and the huge evergreens all combine to create a captivating sense of time and space.
You can understand why Bucks County has long been an attraction for visitors and the country home of famous artists and writers including James Michener, Pearl S. Buck, Dorothy Parker, Moss Hart, George S. Kaufman, Isamu Noguchi and Daniel Garber. The environment is positively inspiring.
But you can find places like this just about everywhere in our great land.
So, no matter where you are, take some time to savor the captivating spirit of the holiday season.
And a place like Peddlers' Village is a great place to start.
We arrived yesterday at dusk and were there to enjoy the lights as darkness fell over the surroundings. It was remarkable!
