Christie Releases First Spanish Language TV Ad

Christie for Governor launched the first Spanish-language television ad of the General Election, entitled “Un Mejor Futuro, Mas Brillante” (“Better, Brighter Future”). The thirty-second ad, the campaign's second Spanish-language ad of the 2013 campaign, continues to spotlight Governor Christie’s record of delivering bipartisan achievement for New Jersey and steady, strong leadership when it was needed most. “Un Mejor Futuro, Mas Brillante” will run statewide on Univision, Telemundo, and Spanish-language cable.

The spot points specifically to the Governor’s record of accomplishment in successfully cutting taxes for New Jersey small businesses, creating private sector jobs, and enacting sweeping education reforms to deliver hope and a better future for children who need it most.

“Governor Christie has delivered a record of proven, bipartisan results that are making a positive difference in the lives of New Jersey families up and down the state,” said Christie for Governor Campaign Manager Bill Stepien. “It’s no surprise that the Governor’s record has earned unprecedented support from leaders across the political spectrum and within our state’s Hispanic community, including from the Latino Leadership Alliance, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the National Coalition of Latino Officers.”

Governor Christie has been endorsed by the heads of Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey, the Essex County Latino-American Chamber of Commerce, The Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce Foundation of Essex County, the National Coalition of Latino Officers, the Latino Leadership Alliance of New Jersey, over 100 individual Hispanic-owned business from across the state, and elected officials representing communities with significant Hispanic populations, including Union City Mayor/Senator Brian Stack, Harrison Mayor Ray McDonough, Harrison City Councilmembers Laurence M.
