We love Martha Stewart.
We've loved her from the very beginning.
She's a true American success story. And she's inspired people the world over.
When we heard she was appearing at this weekend's Philadelphia Antiques and Arts Show (running now through Sunday at the Philadelphia Navy Yard) we just had to be there.
And Martha did not disappoint.
Martha Stewart appeared just as she is, on site to promote her new book Martha's Flowers, written with Kevin Sharkey. The book (Martha's 90th) is a celebration of her love of growing and displaying blooms in their natural state as well as cut, gathered and arranged, both spectacularly and quite simply.
Martha took us through a dazzling slideshow that showcased her various homes and spacious floral gardens. It also spotlighted the eye-catching displays she has created with Kevin.
Martha Stewart was personable, approachable, funny, natural and, as always, full of insight and valuable tips.
Martha's presence, her calming voice and her mannerisms always seem to make everything just fine as she builds a world of beauty and comfort everywhere she goes.
She's a remarkable personality, a TV and internet star, a publisher, a pop culture icon and a hugely successful businesswoman.
And she fits right in at the Philadelphia Antiques and Arts Show which is rich in furniture, rugs, lighting, decorative items and art. It is an extraordinary showcase -- one of the best of its kind in the nation. Indeed, it is not-to-be-missed!
