A wide ranging commentary and dialogue
on the media, politics, today's headlines and the popular culture. Always fresh and new every day! Now celebrating our second decade and more than six million page views. Nationally recognized, widely quoted, newsworthy and noteworthy.
Do you really think it's a great idea to get rid of something that allows citizens, no matter how vociferous and partisan, to opine and have a view of the process and person picked for the job? Of course it's messy, partisan, shrill and slow - that's the price of democracy. At the very least, people are engaged.
What we need to do is get rid of the lifetime appointment. It's always been a ridiculous proposition.
