In The Daily Caller, Paris Dennard writes that President Trump has been a champion for black Americans, turning campaign promises “into federal policy for the betterment of all Americans, especially those in fragile communities and black Americans. His ‘jobs and justice’ agenda has focused on criminal justice reform, Opportunity Zones, and tremendous rule changes at the Department of Labor that will make positive impacts in the lives of minority small business owners and those with 401ks.”
In The Hill, Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) and American Farm Bureau Foundation President Zippy Duvall write that the Trump Administration’s Clean Water Rule is a big win for America’s farmers. “The new Clean Water Rule empowers land owners with the clarity they need to comply with the Clean Water Act. Now, farmers, ranchers, and other small business owners will be able to look at their land and know—without a team of scientists and attorneys—which parts of their land are regulated.”
“Over the past few months, Energy Secretary Rick Perry has been delivering an important message to our country’s allies: America’s energy renaissance is your gift, too. As Perry said at the beginning of the year, ‘The United States is not just exporting energy, we’re exporting freedom,’” Katie Tubb and Nicolas Loris write in The Daily Signal. “When domestic producers have new customers abroad, America’s allies will have more energy choice as well as freedom from hostile actors.”
