The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 47% of Likely U.S. Voters think Comey should be criminally prosecuted for leaking to the media. That’s up from 41% in 2017 but essentially unchanged from April of last year. Thirty-five percent (35%) disagree, while a sizable 18% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on September 1-2, 2019 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
