Christmas With Very Special Children . . .

Philadelphia Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez, will celebrate Mass for students who attend Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments in honor of Saint Lucy’s upcoming feast day on December 13, 2020.

Students will participate in the Mass including as altar servers, lectors, cantors, and in the offertory procession.  

Social distancing guidelines will be followed. The Mass will be streamed live on the Archbishop’s Facebook page @ ArchbishopPerez

Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments was founded in 1955. It is one of three schools of special education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Saint Lucy’s educates academic students who need vision support in order to access academic curriculum.  It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and School Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
