From Save Jersey's Matt Rooney, reblogged with permission:
New Jersey’s wacky new sex curriculum goes into effect this upcoming fall, Save Jerseyans, and you need to know what’s coming your kids’ way in a few short months.
How will they be applied? State Senator Holly Schepisi (R-39) previewed what’s coming by sharing the model materials presented to Westfield’s school district and made them available via social media on Tuesday. She also didn’t hold back in her assessment of the “outrageous” topic matter.
“Although I voted against the legislation mandating certain sexual education classes for even the youngest of children I’ve taken a measured approach and have waited to further comment until I saw what was proposed,” explained Schepisi. “Today I reviewed all of the model school instruction materials and I truly think New Jersey has lost its damn mind.”
“While some of the lessons I agree with, many are completely overboard with cringy detail for young kids and some go so far as unnecessarily sexualizing children further,” Schepisi added. “For me the most outrageous part are teachers are instructed to promote a website Amaze and its YouTube channel to kids as young as 9 for them to get additional information on sex ed. One of the very first videos posted normalizes Porn as “something everyone watches” and “Hey it’s Free!”
“I encourage all parents to take a look and decide if this is something they deem appropriate for kids this age,” the Bergen legislator continued.
Thanks to Holly you can do just that. She made the materials available via Dropbox right here.
The “everyone watches porn” video referenced by Senator Schepisi is viewable over here.
Short on time? You should really make the time especially if you’re a parent, but here’s just one example of what teachers are encouraged to tell their students BEFORE THEY FINISH SECOND GRADE:
“You might feel like you’re a boy even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘girl’ parts. You might feel like you’re a girl even if you have body parts that some people might tell you are ‘boy’ parts. And you might not feel like you’re a boy or a girl, but you’re a little bit of both. No matter how you feel, you’re perfectly normal!”
Here’s a FIRST grade lesson titled “Pink, Blue, and Purple” for six and seven year old children:
And check out these additional model teaching instructions for young kids:
“Direct students’ attention to the PowerPoint where you have displayed the male body and female body with bathing suit diagram. Explain that “During the summer, when some people go swimming, people generally wear bathing suits to cover their genitals. Explain that when we wash our bodies and go to the doctor for a check-up, it’s important to knowwhat our body parts are and how to keep them healthy. Advance to the next slide. Pointout and explain the following. “Most girls have a vulva, which is the name for the area between the legs.
Most girls? Did you catch that?
Again, this stuff is directly based upon the officially-adopted new curriculum standards:
By the end of 5th Grade, students are expected to define the following terms: Sex assigned at birth, gender identity, cisgender, transgender, gender nonbinary and transgender; it’s all part of a lesson called “Thinking Outside of the (Gender) Box.” By the way: the baby-making lesson for 3rd to 5th graders don’t even mention “woman” or “female” at all.
All of these are just a few examples of what’s to come for your kids thanks to these new curriculum standards enacted by the Murphy Democrats. It’s just the tip of a massive, far-Left iceberg. See? Ron DeSantis knew what he was doing in Florida. He wasn’t crying wolf.
You need to know what to expect as districts formulate their own plans based upon the new curriculum guidelines and adopted state standards heading into the fall semester.
Buckle up, folks. If you thought the school board meetings were getting interesting in 2021, just wait until fall 2022…
