The number of possible Republican gains keeps growing.
The predictions of even more Election Day losses keep coming in.
And the pundits? Well, they just keep piling on the Dems.

It added up to a brutal weekend for Democrats, as the consensus among election analysts, already bearish on the party’s prospects, took a turn for the worse over the past 48 hours.
It seems the Democrats simply cannot come up with a message or a strategy to turn things around. And with two weeks to go, the hour is getting late.
The Democrats tried the blame game. They tried changing their talking point. They tried switching themes. As Halloween approaches, they're even trying trickery. But none of it is making a difference.
And it's not just the House that gives the Democrats indigestion. The gubernatorial races look bad as well. And the Senate is still in play.
