Video: Want Some Opera With That Cheesesteak?
People come from all over the world go to Geno's in Philadelphia to enjoy Philly's famous cheesesteaks.
It's a ritual and Geno's is a cheesesteak mecca that has attracted everyone from well-healed corporate types to celebrities to politicians to everyday locals.
But recently cheesesteak lovers got a highbrow surprise with their favorite Philly indulgence when over 20 members of the Opera Company of Philadelphia Chorus gave unsuspecting Phillies fans cheesesteaks "wit" a side of Verdi, performing "Vedi le fosche notturne", the "Anvil Chorus" from Il trovatore. Enjoy!
