SISTER CITIES GIRLCHOIR INSPIRES
With a sold-out crowd of proud family and friends cheering them on, more than 250 girls, ages 6 to 16 from West Philadelphia, Kensington, Northeast Philadelphia and Camden, NJ, recently performed everything from Beethoven to Beyoncé at the Church of the Holy Trinity on Rittenhouse Square. It happened as part of Sister Cities Girlchoir’s (SCG) 2nd Annual Finale Fundraiser “Broadway, Our Way!,” a concert which Simon PR supported with a pro-bono media relations campaign.

SISTER CITIES GIRLCHOIR IN THE NEWS
Simon PR conducted an aggressive media relations campaign to share SCG’s story of empowering at-risk girls by building resilience, leadership, mastery and connection. For the purpose of driving attendance to the concert, the Agency secured a feature on CBS Philly’s popular Brotherly Love segment and print and online calendar placements across the region. The results: More than 700 attendees – including Philadelphia Daily News columnist Helen Ubiñas – lauded the girls’ performance and SCG increased its visibility in the community.
