As Governor Tom Wolf continues to break his own travel ban for an out-of-state trip to Washington D.C., we wonder if America’s Most Liberal Governor still believes if Pennsylvania’s biggest problem is “low self-esteem.”
One year ago this week, Governor Wolf was nearly laughed out of the National Governors’ Association meeting after claiming the Keystone State’s “self-esteem” problem was a bigger challenge than issues such as our public pension crisis or unemployment.
Over the following months, Governor Tom Wolf would plunge our Commonwealth into a budget crisis, including a $3 billion cut to education funding and major cuts to health care.
So, as Governor Tom Wolf stands with President Barack Obama at the White House today, we have to ask: Does Tom Wolf still believe Pennsylvania’s greatest challenge is its “low self-esteem”?
