Great news!
For the first time since Gallup has been keeping track of these things there are now more "red" (solidly Republican) states that there are "blue" (solidly Democrat).
There are now twelve solidly red states and ten solidly blue.
What's more, there are six states that lean red and only two that lean blue.
Combine them and you have 18 states read or leaning red and only 12 states blue or leaning blue.
The remaining states (including big ones like Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Virginia) are up for grabs.
