Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti Catholic High School (Neumann-Goretti) in South Philadelphia recently launched Tuition4me for the third consecutive year.
This unique initiative seeks to assist high school seniors at schools throughout the region in defraying college expenses. The program consists of a virtual auction of full-value, donated college tuition and housing credits provided by numerous colleges and universities in Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania.
New for this year, tuition credits to Neumann-Goretti will be offered to 8th grade students who attend five Catholic elementary schools in the South Philadelphia area including: Our Lady of Hope Regional School; Saint Anthony of Padua Regional Catholic School; Saint Monica School; Saint Pio Regional Catholic School; and Saint Thomas Aquinas School.
The online auction opens on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. and closes on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. It provides students and families with opportunities to acquire full-value tuition and housing credits at reduced prices. Following the conclusion of the auction, the winning bidders will be notified of their scholarship acquisition and how it will reduce the student’s expenses at the participating college or at Neumann-Goretti for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The colleges and universities partnering with Neumann-Goretti in the Tuition4me program include: Cedar Crest College, Allentown, Pennsylvania; DeSales University, Center Valley, Pennsylvania; Dominican University New York, Orangeburg, New York; Goldey-Beacom College, Wilmington, Delaware; King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Mount Aloysius College, Cresson, Pennsylvania; Neumann University, Aston, Pennsylvania; Point Park University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pennsylvania; and Waynesburg University, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
