“Donnie has worked closely with me and my district office staff over the years in various capacities,” said Corrado (R-40). “He brings a wealth of experience to our office having served in various roles in the political and nonprofit worlds and in municipal government. I have no doubt that Donnie will hit the ground running in support of our efforts to fight for our constituents and maintain the high level of service that people have come to expect from our district office.”

DeDio is a lifelong resident of Wayne, New Jersey, and is an active member of the community. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where he obtained an undergraduate degree in political science in 2020 and a master’s degree in public administration in 2022.

He serves as the Chairman of the Passaic County Young Republicans—a position he has held since 2018—and most recently, was appointed in February 2023 as the Secretary of the Wayne Regular Republican Organization.

Additionally, DeDio serves as the President of the Wayne Police Athletic League (PAL) Board of Trustees, as a middle school travel basketball coach at the Wayne PAL, and as a member of the Wayne Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.

Previously, DeDio was employed by the Township of Montville where he served as a Confidential Assistant to the Township Administrator.

“Senator Corrado is a dedicated public servant who consistently stands up for her constituents and New Jersey taxpayers,” DeDio added. “It’s an honor to have the opportunity to serve as her chief of staff and to build upon the already exceptional constituent services already offered by the 40th Legislative District Office.”
