Under a superintendent who bills himself as politically-correct and a seemingly oh-so-sensitive school board that seems to follow him in lockstep, the Cherry Hill Schools cultivate a relentlessly woke image.
But back here in the real world, what's actually happening minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour, day-after-day in the local schools?
The news report from a Philadelphia TV station (below) tells the tale. It lifts the glossy veil off the school district and provides an anguished story you're not likely to forget.
The school district says it's moving toward a program called "restorative justice" to prevent the sort of thing described below. Obviously, it's moving in the wrong direction. It's apparently embracing yet another "touchy-feely" scheme that leads nowhere.
The district's own goals say it seeks to insure students' "social and emotional wellness . . . while promoting and fostering safe and secure learning environments." What a joke!
