Christie: Remember Those Who Fought, Perished

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie issued the following statement today in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day:

“Seventy-three years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor altered the course of World War II and became one of the most defining moments in our nation’s history. The attack shook our nation and people to the core, but strengthened our unity and resolve against forces of oppression and hate. Today we pause to remember those who fought and were lost on that day of national tragedy. Let us honor the memory and sacrifice of those individuals and never forget their bravery on that day and throughout World War II. Their efforts defined a generation and continue to inspire Americans today.”
