Walker To Obama: Focus On Leading, Not Attacking

We happen to think that President Obama's recent "cheap shot" attack on Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin marked a new low, even for Obama. And our initial reaction is to respond -- strongly!

So, though we're not endorsing anyone for president just yet, we still wanted to pass this message along to you because we commend Scott Walker for taking on the president and feel he has an important message to convey. We leave it to you to decide for yourself.

Accordingly, here is a very special message from Governor Scott Walker:

When news first broke that President Obama had called my views "foolish," my first thought was that the President of the United States should be focused more on leading and doing the work of the American people than attacking governors.

If you agree that America is better served by a president who works with governors and members of Congress instead of against them, please support Friends of Scott Walker with a contribution of $10, $35, $50, $100, $250, or another amount today.

As the conservative governor of a blue state, I am used to cheap political attacks (and even cheaper personal ones). And the fact that this is not the first time President Obama has singled me out means that we must be doing something right.

But here is the thing, Daniel, it's not really me that's being attacked. It's our conservative ideology

Our deeply held belief in limited government, fiscal discipline, and a world-leading foreign policy is being attacked by Big Government proponents and liberal Washington special interests.

With new attacks popping up at every turn, we could really use your conservative support. Please stand with us with a heartfelt contribution of $10 or $100 or $1,000 or whatever amount you can spare today.

Our big, bold reforms have turned Wisconsin around and our big, bold ideas are putting Washington on notice.

There is a lot of work ahead of us -- and many, many more attacks to come. Let's get ready!

Governor Scott Walker

P.S. If you believe it's wrong for a president to attack fellow leaders at a time when he should be focusing on leading, then show your support for Friends of Scott Walker today and make your conservative voice heard!
