What exactly is behind the enduring appeal of President Trump?

It's and appeal that’s at least 74 million voters strong and it befuddles his opponents — in fact it drives them downright crazy, and right now it even has Trump edging out an incumbent president,
Here are five big reasons for Trump’s appeal:

1) THE BRAND
There’s an old saying in advertising: sales overnight; brands over time, Anyone can make a sale, just like anyone can fool you once. But only the power of a trusted brand can keep you coming back to buy again and again. 2) AUTHENTICITY
Closely tied to the brand is Trump’s realness. He comes across as genuine. What you see is what you get, No bullshit, He cuts right to the chase and delivers the goods without mincing words. And speaking of words . . .

3) THE TURN OF THE PHRASE
Trump seems to have a knack for the clever or catchy phrase, After all,  this a man who made phrases like “You’re fired” and “Whata’ya have to lose?” and “Make America great again” famous. He’s speaks to everyday people in everyday language that they can understand and retain. In marketing, these are called taglines. They’re key identifiers. To Trump they come as natural as that vivid blue suit and long red tie he sports,

4) THE ENTERTAINMENT FACTOR
Politics has been called show business for ugly people. Beautiful or ugly, there’s no doubt that the show is a big part of the business we know as politics. Like it or not, politicians are called to perform and the best politicians have a flair for drama. Watch Trump grab and hold a huge arena-sized audience for up to two hours all by himself, alone on a stage without an array of smoke and mirrors and tell us he’s not a performer, We dare ‘ya!

5) THE CONTRAST
In his relatively short political career, through the primaries and the general election campaigns Trump has vanquished a couple of dozen opponents. In Hillary Clinton, he not only bested an iconIc trailblazer but he vaporized a would be dynasty. He plays to the power of the contrast, vividly exploiting the weaknesses of his opponents. And he goes up against Biden once again, here’s his ace in the hole: Things were better under Trump. You were way better off four years ago than you are now. End of story,
