HGTV's House Hunters International Debuts Contest

Famous for its addictive global house-hunting adventures, fans of HGTV’s House Hunters International know the “thrill” of finding a great home abroad is in the hunt. With new episodes airing every weeknight at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, HGTV is continuing to take viewers on an around-the-world real estate adventure with the launch of an interactive House Hunters International Digital Passport Experience. Beginning today, fans can download the experience by “liking” Facebook.com/HGTVHouseHunters to earn coveted passport stamps and win great prizes, including the chance for one lucky viewer to win a global adventure – a 12-Day Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice with stops in some of the world’s greatest cities: Provence, France; Italy’s Rome, Florence and Pisa; Istanbul, Turkey; Athens and Mykonos, Greece.

House Hunters International is escapism at its best,” said Denise Conroy-Galley, HGTV’s senior vice president, marketing and creative. “The Digital Passport Experience offers a new opportunity for fans to have fun with their favorite show. The more viewers watch, the more chances they have to win a global adventure!”

HGTV’s House Hunters International Digital Passport Experience on Facebook allows users to earn stamps by answering the “question of the day” after each night’s new episode of House Hunters International.  Users can also receive virtual souvenirs by answering bonus questions at the end of each week.  In addition to entering for a chance to win the global adventure grand prize, fans that collect stamps may also enter for a chance to win House Hunters gear each week and an international travel pack each month.  Users may also share their passport with friends and update their cover image with a shot from House Hunters International.

Viewers can catch new episodes of HGTV’s House Hunters International every weeknight at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT and encore episodes at HGTV.com/HouseHuntersInternational.  They can also become fans of HGTV by interacting with other home and design enthusiasts through Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
