President Barack Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior
foreign correspondent and vice presidential debate moderator Martha
Raddatz, The Daily Caller has learned. Obama and groom Julius
Genachowski, whom Obama would later tap to head the Federal
Communications Commission, were Harvard Law School classmates at the
time and members of the Harvard Law Review.
And, get this -- UN Ambassador Susan Rice is married to an ABC-TV producer,
And let's not forget that ABC anchor GeorgeStephanopoulos is an ardent liberal and was Bill Clinton's Press Secretary.
Also, the Commission on Presidential Debates has other Obama administration ties that include several
personal friends and political supporters of President Obama who are
among its leaders
Commission board member Newton Minow, who was FCC chairman under
President John F. Kennedy, was an early and prominent supporter of
Obama’s 2008 campaign.
It was during his time as a summer associate in 1989 at Minow’s Chicago law firm, Sidley & Austin LLP, that Obama was introduced to the influential members of Chicago’s political scene. Minow made many of those introductions himself.
