A Daring Landmark That Whole World Loves

There's nothing in the whole world quite like the Sydney Opera House.
Built on a peninsula, it seems to shimmer above the water as it dominate the skyline along the approach to Sydney's generous harbor.
Some people say it looks like sails on a ship.
Others see it as birds or birds' beaks or even penguins.
Still others say it looks like flying nuns.
No matter what you see (or when you see it) it's graceful and unique.
And it's not just an opera house, It is a full-scale performing arts center with separate venues for opera and ballet, a symphony orchestra, drama and other types of attractions.
Every day of the year, there's something happening at the opera house.
It's a thrilling monument to a daring vision!
