Elementary school students at Saint Andrew Catholic School in Newtown (Bucks County) will host a Day of Service. In partnership with “Stop Hunger Now,” hundreds of Saint Andrew students, parents, and parishioners will pack more than 10,000 meals for people in the poorest areas of the world. Since September, the students have conducted charitable collection efforts to defray the cost of the meals. “Stop Hunger Now” is an organization whose mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.
