They were once a familiar sight.
They were ready, anxious, able.
And for the most part they worked hard and did a good job.
They learned how to be enterprising, helpful and efficient. And they also learned the value of a dollar.
These were important lessons. Plus, on top of all that, they were good neighbors as well.
