Have 'Progressive' Policies Doomed Lunches, Prom?

NJ CD-1 GOP candidate Josh Duvall released the following statement:
It never ceases to amaze me when ‘progressive’ policy leads directly to outright failure. It happens so often, especially in our one-party ruled state. Democrats have run Cherry Hill for decades with majorities on the Council, School Board, and a Democratic mayor.
It’s under this failed leadership that we’ve seen not only our property taxes increase substantially, but now we must also be subjugated to this national disgrace of tuna-fish lunches and prom-shaming scandals for kids who fall a few dollars short on their lunch bills.
Imagine being a Cherry Hill parent, paying on average $8,400 in property taxes (source: https://patch.com/new-jersey/cherryhill/heres-how-much-cherry-hill-residents-pay-property-taxes) only to have your child fed tuna-fish at lunch and face exclusion from extracurricular activities like the annual prom because you didn’t quite keep up with their lunch bill.
The situation is embarrassing.
Maybe if we as residents didn’t have the highest state income taxes in the nation, the highest state business taxes in the nation, and the highest state property taxes in the nation then we could afford some nicer lunches for our students.
From top to bottom, New Jersey government is rotten. Consistently putting itself before it’s constituents. It’s time to clean house and elections in 2019 and 2020 are our opportunity as voters to make a change.
