Shortly after the Georgia Senatorial race declared no winner, and that there would be another Senatorial election the beginning of January, Karl Rove reached out to Robert Asher and asked if Pennsylvania could raise $400,000 to help.
Without hesitation, Bob agreed to co-chair the Georgia Battleground fund. The news of what Bob and his team did to raise much needed funds in our Commonwealth for the Georgia Senate contest is staggering: the final dollar tally was $1,2000,000!
Bob has always been there to help Republicans on every level of government. And, he asks for nothing in return. That is a true mark of a leader. I am recalling what Albert Einstein once said: Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value. I think that says it all.
To Bob, his team, and everyone involved in this hotly contested Georgia race, a heartfelt thank you for being there to help. You make Pennsylvania proud beyond words!
Cordially,
