As we continue our journey along the edge of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains we've come to the town of Front Royal which is the county seat of Warren County, Virginia. The town sits at the gateway to the scenic Skyline Drive and alongside Shenandoah National Park so it is a haven for nature lovers.
Front Royal also played a key role in history as this is where Stonewall Jackson won an important battle against Union forces during the Civil War. Today, the center of town features an old-fashioned Main Street dotted with iconic buildings and vivid examples of imaginative mural art.
