Free Pregnancy Care Resource Guide Available

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Life and Family has released a comprehensive pregnancy care resource guide featuring life-affirming support services available throughout the Greater Philadelphia region and beyond.

The free guide provides pregnant women, fathers, new parents, and single parents with resources including pregnancy and parenting support; support for extended families; social services; miscarriage support; post-abortion healing; youth programs; housing resources; and services in Spanish. The information is broken down by state and county in southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

“When a woman is faced with an unplanned pregnancy, she may be afraid and feel alone. While some women turn to abortion, many choose to raise their child, as difficult as it may be at times even as a single parent,” said Steven Bozza, Director of The Office for Life and Family. “This booklet offers women the resources they need for physical, financial, emotional, and spiritual support. It also offers resources for women who have had miscarriages or are coping with the aftermath of abortion.”

The commitment of the Archdiocese to protecting and preserving human life extends to caring for the hungry, the poor, the sick, the immigrant, the elderly, the oppressed, and any of our brothers and sisters who are marginalized. This work is done through the various charitable ministries and programs of the Archdiocese including Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
