‘PARENTS BILL OF RIGHTS’ Republican lawmakers introduced a resolution to establish a “Parents Bill of Rights” this week, which is meant to bolster parental rights in the public education system with a new set of federal standards for schools. CONGRESSMEN CONFRONT LEADING MEDICAL GROUP Republican Rep. Chip Roy and three other members of Congress sent a letter Friday to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) confronting the group for its recent decision to abruptly exclude a pro-life doctors’ association from its annual conference. The letter called on other lawmakers to refuse to meet with ACOG, which has lobbyists at the capital, until it renounces its “extreme abortion agenda.” READ TEXAS A&M ENDS DEI PRACTICES The Texas A&M University system announced Thursday that it will remove all diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statements from its admissions and hiring criteria effective immediately. “No university or agency in the A&M System will admit any student, nor hire any employee based on any factor other than merit,” said the system’s chancellor, John Sharp. READ CPAC HOSTS NO PRO-LIFE PANELS For the second year in a row, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is not hosting a single panel dedicated to pro-life issues. Pro-life researcher Michael New points out that in the past year, Roe v.
