A majority of voters think the multiple investigations of Donald Trump will eventually result in criminal charges against him, but far fewer expect the former president will be sent to prison.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 58% of likely U.S. voters believe it is likely that investigations of Trump will lead to criminal charges against him, including 30% who think charges are very likely. Thirty-four percent (34%) say criminal charges against Trump are unlikely, including 11% who believe such charges are not at all likely. (To see survey question wording, click here). Still, very few expect Trump to face jail time.
