The Rising Together Alliance (RTA), which focuses on providing Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia that is inclusive of special education students and their learning needs will hold its first benefit and awards ceremony.

The RTA will recognize leaders in the field who have been instrumental in the growth of inclusive education in Archdiocesan high schools and parish and regional elementary schools. Awards will be presented in the following categories:
- School of the Year: Holy Trinity Parish School in Morrisville (Bucks County);
- Teacher of the Year: Rose Corcoran, Pre-K 4A Homeroom Teacher at Saints Colman-John Neumann Parish School in Bryn Mawr (Delaware County);
- Secondary Teacher of the Year: Diane Amlin, Math Department Chair at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor (Delaware County); and
- Learning Support Program: Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish School in West Grove (Chester County).
During the ceremony, RTA will surprise a dedicated member of its team with the Visionary Award.
In addition, RTA will unveil the new name of the program created for the inclusion of students with disabilities attending parish and regional elementary schools. The event is sponsored by Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI).
The RTA’s mission is to provide children with intellectual disabilities the opportunity for an inclusive Catholic education in their local parochial schools. The RTA welcomes all children to an inclusive Catholic education and to increase the capabilities of the schools within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to provide meaningful inclusion. RTA was created in 2020. Since that time, inclusive education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has grown from one school to 10 schools.
