Kenneth Langone is an American billionaire businessman and philanthropist, best known as a co-founder of The Home Depot and the founder and CEO of the investment firm Invemed Associates LLC.
Born into a working-class Italian-American family, Langone overcame financial hardship to attend Bucknell University and earn an MBA from NYU, eventually becoming a major figure on Wall Street.
He is a significant donor to New York University, which renamed its medical center the NYU Langone Medical Center in his honor, and authored the book "I Love Capitalism!"
