You've made our most recent op-ed ("At 80, It's Still Forever Jackie!") one of the most-read pieces in yesterday's Philadelphia Daily News opinion pages.This heartfelt tribute to Jacqueline Kennedy Onasis is something that we've been meaning to write for a long time. And it something that we felt really needed to be said.
We thank the Daily News and our wonderful editor Michael Schefer for helping to make this column see the light of day.
It wasn't the easiest piece to write.
It took time and understanding.
But it was worth it.
And so, we thank all of you for making it a "most read."
But above all, we thank Jackie -- Jackie, who held herself to such high standards with such enviable pride and discipline; Jackie, who continues to inspire us; Jackie, whose style and grace will never be equaled.
May her memory endure and inspire future generations!
