Art Museum Restaurants Offer Chagall Desserts

In conjunction with its latest exhibition Paris Through The Window: Marc Chagall And His Circle on display at the Ruth and Raymond G. Perelman Building, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is offering special Chagall-inspired desserts at its restaurant and cafes.
Specifically, the menu at the Gallery Café at Perelman and the museum’s main building’s cafeteria includes a beautiful beehive cookie, a playful acknowledgment of the literal meaning of “La Ruche” (beehive), the artist’s residence area in Paris that Chagall and his compatriots populated.
In addition, the Stephen Starr-helmed Granite Hill is serving a gorgeous “Chagall’s Beehive” dessert: toasted meringue, raspberry marquise, puff pastry and lavender honey. Très délicieuse.
