Camco Freeholder Director Owes Thousands In Taxes

Camden County Democrat Freeholder Lou Cappelli owes nearly $30,000 in back taxes on two properties according to this morning's Courier-Post.
Here's an excerpt from the front-page story in the Courier:
Cappelli, the board's freeholder-director, "owes back taxes totaling over $21,000, an amount comparable to his current freeholder salary," Tom Booth, chairman of the Camden County GOP, said in a statement.
Cappelli, who is seeking re-election this year, and his estranged wife, Jacqueline, owe $29,804 on two properties in Collingswood, according to a legal notice published by the borough late last year.
The notice said the Cappelli properties -- a home in the 500 block of West Browning Road and an office site in the 800 block of Haddon Avenue -- would be part of a Dec. 17 sale of municipal tax liens.
