Copulating Carnival: Neighbors Help Hundreds Mate

It's that time of year.
And they're copulating like crazy in Philly. Ohhhh, yeah . . . !
In the city's Roxborough section, helpful neighbors close off a street each evening so the mating can continue into the night.
The mating detour is well-organized. In fact,.there's a website, complete with a code of conduct for volunteers.
In Philly, everybody cooperates so that cosummation of relationships can be conducted in peace -- even though it may get hectic and noisy at times.
Of course, we're talking about TOADS.
And this is the time of year for them to well, . . . . get together.
On Port Royal Avenue in Philadelphia that means folks are shutting down the street again so that thousands of the little critters can safely get across the road to the Roxborough reservoir where they do their thing.
Well, they don;t call it the City of Brotherly (ans sisterly) love for nothin, ya know?
