Did You CPK Lately? We Did, And We Loved It!
Well, did you CPK?
Did you do it recently?
Did you enjoy it?
We did and we had a swell time.
We are of course talking about one of our favorite restaurants -- California Pizza Kitchen (CPK).
We first started enjoying CPK more than 20 years ago on a trip to California. And we've been enjoying it ever since.
We recently stopped by the CPK at the Cherry Hill Mall (shown above) and found that everything we like about CPK is still very much intact: the sleek, modernist interior; the friendly service; the lively atmosphere; the helpful management; the wonderful menu and the reasonable tariff.
We enjoyed the Greek salad pizza and the asparagus spinach spaghettini with chicken. The pizza was delightfully crisp and zesty and the spaghettini was fresh, fragrant and tasty. The spaghettini dish came in a white wine garlic sauce with butter. The pizza featured the traditional Greek salad ingredients on a perfect crust. Both dishes are pictured above, just as they were served.
BTW: Many of CPK's pizzas are also available in thin crust versions and all of the pasta dishes are available with whole wheat penne pasta.
Our server, Jake was remarkably friendly and accommodating and the service was prompt and efficient.
We heartily recommend California Pizza Kitchen!
