Video: Those Testy Moments At Christie Town Hall

Everybody's talking about it.
It's Governor Chris Christie's latest Town Hall here in South Jersey (Burlington County) where things got testy -- again. This time the Governor got into a shouting match with a former Navy Seal (a decorated Iraq and Afghanistan war vet) who's also a defeated Democrat candidate for State Assembly and Town Council in Burlington County.
I haven't been abort to find a video that shows the entire exchange. The one above is the best we can do for now.
And it's important to try to consider the entire exchange and the history here, as we previously noted.
You all know how we feel about Chris Christie. We think the world of him.
So, why is the Governor is trying to cast the proposed Rowan/Rutgers merger as a fait accompli?
Look, as Rowan graduates we understand that Rowan has a lot to gain here (that's fine by us) and the idea of a large, regional research university does have its appeal. But the Rutgers brand is powerful and We can understand why Rutgers students and alums are so up in arms about this.
Nobody should be surprised that this plan is controversial and that it has set off emotions.
If the plan is so good then it will withstand increased public scrutiny and a full and fair debate with all sides at the table and all voices heard (in an orderly fashion, of course).
It seems to us that the changes that are proposed are too big and too important to be treated any other way.
Deep breath, everybody!
