The Chief of Police at Lehigh University (where Philadelphia Eagles training camp is centered) says that an investigation is underway into the death of 29-year-old Garrett Reid. Reid, the son of Eagles head coach Andy Reid had been at the training camp assisting the team and helping out with strength and conditioning. He was staying in a room on the campus.
The police chief says that his
office received a 911 call at about 7:20 this morning regarding
an unresponsive male in the Sayre Park dorms.
He explains that several attempts were made to revive Garrett to no avail. The chief also claims there were "no suspicious activities."
Northamption (PA) County Coroner Zachary Lysek said that he was conducting
an investigation with the cooperation of the Lehigh police department.
