AFP Conservative Summit Sells Out In New Jersey

Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s 5th Annual New Jersey Defending the American Dream Summit is sold out more than a week in advance of the upcoming October 13 event.

The free-market group will host close to one thousand conservative activists from across the tri-state region at the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Parsippany, NJ for the day-long Summit which will feature a who’s who of leading conservative thinkers, pundits and scholars.

Highlighting the star-studded lineup of speakers are author, blogger and political commentator Michelle Malkin; author, Fox News and National Review Online contributor Jonah Goldberg; and New York Times best-selling author and President of King’s College in Manhattan, Dinesh D’Souza.

Other speakers include the American Spectator’s John Fund, citizen journalist of Project Veritas, James O’Keefe III, and the latest addition, author, economist and financial guru, Peter Schiff.

“The fact that our Summit would sell out this far in advance is an amazing statement that the conservative movement here in the Northeast is alive and well and energized to promote our message of economic freedom,” said Steve Lonegan, state director of AFP Foundation’s New Jersey chapter.

“The lineup of speakers we have on tap for the Summit couldn’t be any better,” continued Lonegan. “Michelle Malkin, Jonah Goldberg and Dinesh D’Souza would constitute an amazing enough trio, but to also have the likes of James O’Keefe, John Fund and now Peter Schiff on hand just puts this event over the top.”

“This will hands down be the biggest event for the conservative movement in the Northeast this fall.”

AFP Foundation’s Defending the American Dream Summit aims to educate citizen activists about the benefits of economic freedom, free markets, and limited government. The Summit also provides citizen activists with grassroots training to empower them to become effective advocates of the group’s free-market vision.
