Keith Haring Mural & Garden Restored The Neighborhood Gardens Trust (NGT), managed by PHS, worked with Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program, Composite Landscape Design, and other contractors to restore a mural painted by renowned artist Keith Haring in 1987 on the side of a house in Point Breeze, along with the adjacent sitting garden, owned by NGT. New fencing and benches reflect the colors of the mural, and the garden provides a comfortable space to experience the artwork. The artist's family turned out for the celebration; Haring died in 1990.
