Comcast-Spectacor is opening the doors of the Wells Fargo Center and allowing for a free ice skating session on the same ice surface as this weekend's NCAA Frozen Four on Saturday, April 12 from 12 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Admission to the public skate is free. Later that evening, Minnesota and Union College will battle for the national championship at the Wells Fargo Center, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Interested skaters can bring their own ice skates. For those without skates, Bauer will offer free skate rentals. Skaters should enter the Wells Fargo Center through the Northwest Gate off Broad Street.
Following the public skate, fans can make their way to Frozen Fest, the official headquarters for all NCAA fans, at XFINITY Live! Philadelphia. Frozen Fest takes over XFINITY Live! on Saturday, April 12, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Fans can participate in a full day of interactive games, activities, and listen to live music on the outdoor Live! concert stage featuring performances by The Characters, the Philadelphia Boys Choir, and Giffords Lane.
The Frozen Four is one the NCAA’s premier championships, bringing thousands of visitors nationwide to the city of Philadelphia.
