Bring your beach blankets, flip-flops, sunscreen and an appetite for summer fun — and don’t forget your free tickets! — as superstar music acts Blake Shelton (Thursday, July 31) and Lady Antebellum (Sunday, August 3) hit the Atlantic City beach (between The Pier Shops at Caesars at Arkansas Avenue and Central Pier at St. James Place) for an unforgettable Atlantic City summer weekend experience.
New Tickets Available
The Atlantic City Alliance (ACA), in conjunction with Live Nation and DO AC, today announced that after finalizing the site plan more concert tickets have become available. An additional limited block of free tickets to each beach concert can be reserved via Ticketmaster.com<http://www.ticketmaster.com> beginning Friday, July 11 at 3 p.m. Although the beach concerts are free, tickets are required to gain entry onto the free beach concert site. There are no TicketMaster fees (courtesy of the Atlantic City Alliance), but tickets are limited to TWO per person.
In addition the DO AC Nightclub on Wheels will be popping up randomly over the next two weeks giving away another 1,000 tickets to each concert in Baltimore on July 16, Philadelphia on July 23 and New York City on July 24. These pop ups will be country loyalists final opportunity to score tickets to the FREE Beach Concerts with Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum. Follow the hashtags, #BlakeAC and #LadyAinAC for more information.
Another way to win tickets is via contests on Facebook. Like and follow www.facebook.com/DOAtlanticCity<http://www.facebook.com/DOAtlanticCity> to learn more details as contests are announced.
Opening Acts
Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum are not the only stars of these shows. Two exciting opening acts will get the crowd dancing starting at 4:00 p.m. both days. Opening for Blake Shelton is Dan & Shay, the Nashville country-music duo touring with Shelton on the current leg of his 2014 Ten Times Crazier Tour, which kicked off in June. The duo Alex and Sierra (winners of “X-Factor” and behind the hit song “Scarecrow”) will open for Lady Antebellum.
Concert Logistics
A new map of the concert venue provides visitors with visual instructions on where to enter and exit and shows amenities and vendors.
The essential information guide also provides details on how to have a great concert experience. Ticketholders are encouraged to download the guide<http://atlanticcityalliance.net/media/uploads/doac_-_guide_to_a_great_concert_experience.pdf> at DoAtlanticCity.com and follow the guidelines to have a fun day at the beach for both concerts.
Both shows are part of a summer-long musical DO AC celebration of Atlantic City’s world-famous Boardwalk and free beach that includes hundreds of free shows and entertainment daily through Labor Day, in addition to several festivals and mega-events, including the return of the Atlantic City Air Show.
Each free beach concert will be a play day at the beach — for the audience as well as the performers, both of which will have unique and memorable experiences during this double shot of world-class, live outdoor entertainment. With a plethora of opportunities to explore all that AC has to offer days before, after and/or in between the Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum concert dates, it’s a great excuse for visitors to escape to Atlantic City for an action-packed, long weekend or week-long summer vacation.
