Rallies Set In Phila. Area Against Illegal Immigration

A special message from the Independence Hall tea Party Association:

Dear Members and Friends

What a difference a month makes.

In a June Gallup Pollonly 5% of Americans thought "Immigration" was the #1 problem facing our nation.

According to the latest Gallup Poll, one in six respondents (17%) named "Immigration" along with "Government Dissatisfaction" as the top issue
confronting America.  (Click the link below for more details.)

Rallies Against Illegal Immigration
As the immigration issue explodes onto the national scene--with video imagesof children illegally crossing our borders without parental or even adult supervision--Americans are outraged at government policies which have fostered this irresponsible and dangerous behavior.

Protest rallies have been organized nationwide by Americans for Legal Immigration for Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19.

On Friday, two protests will take place at the Mexican Consulates in our region--one outside the Bourse Building in Philadelphia, 11 AM-4 PM and one in New York City, 12 Noon.  (See details below.)

Association members and Dom Giordano will be participating in the Philadelphia Rally.  (Dom is expected to arrive at the Bourse around 12:30 PM.)

On Saturday, there will be simultaneous protests in the shore communities of Manahawkin, NJ (Ocean County) and Lewes, DE.  As well, protests will take place in Middletown, DEDover, DE; and Boothwyn, PA.  (Details also below.)

For those attending the Mexican Consulate protests tomorrow,  it is important to send the message to the Mexican government that we expect them to respect our laws regarding immigration--that means stopping unescortedCentral and South American children, and other persons (including Mexicans), from crossing our borders illegally.

How is it that children from Central and South America are admitted illegally into Mexico in the first place?  How do they make their way to the
Mexican/American border?

And while Mexico allows almost everyone on earth to enter our country illegally, why are they still holding a US Marine, Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi, as prisoner--the one individual who should be allowed to cross the Mexican/American border?   Please bring appropriate signs with you.
